Game specific friend codes :(

Is anyone else a little angry about the wii having game specific friend codes? If the console already has it's own number, why does each game need one as well?

Yeap, it's no fun I know. Though Nintendo does like keeping friend codes secret. Which can be a pain. Though, we can always get by with other codes. It will not be that fun of course having them. Though if the game requires it. Then we just have to live with it.

Which I wish they would get it more like Xbox Live. With friend requests & everything.

Does every game have special friend code, oh man, nice very nice, now we must give eachother EVERY TIME (when a new game arrives) our friend codes. :cry:

Has anyone seen any indication that each game will have friend codes? I mean I know Pokemon Battle Revolution does....but in terms of future releases? Metroid Prime 3 for instance? Seems like this could be easliy solved with a new channel update in the near future. Lets hope so.

From my current understanding. Metroid Prime isn't going to be online anymore. They said that it was going to be taking out for the story line. Which really sucks, because it would make the Metroid play online nice again. Though alot better then the DS considering you have a Wiimote.

I don't know if they all will have seperate friendcodes. Though if it's through Nintendo it probably will. Third party companies though may be a little diffrent. Though I doubt it unless it's something like a MMO. Which lets just hope it isn't like this. If not we can always deal with it. As long as we get to play right?

See all the stuff I have read just says it won't have multiplayer "in the same format as Metroid Prime 2". This, coupled with the pushed back release date, makes me hopeful for the possibility of some sort of online play.

I get confused I thought it was like LIVE and I got a Wii but I only have the new Mario Game for my mother, She told me she never had a new Mario game ever and I bought it mainly for her anyway, but back on topic the Wii Friend codes are a joke in my option, I hope they update it to msg people Like on Xbox/Games for Windows LIVE
