Elite it is defiantly the BD drive because i restored my system and im still having trouble. Do yo no any were i can buy the ps3 BD drive? It annt a problem if its in the states i have family there.

I would do a little google research if I was you to find out what the PS3 Blu Ray drive is model and brand. Before you buy anything of course.

Buy from Newegg they have some pretty good deals on Blue Ray drives. I would suggest if you do open the system up check the brand name and model if there is a sticker. Find one similar on Newegg of the same brand name and google to see if it is a good replacement that works.

Newegg does sell the drive its CECHE01 i seen it on ebay but i don't trust them. I never opened my PS3 yet because i'm still waiting on my torx screw driver to arrive and im also buying a 360 elite

If I remember correctly it is the same size screw driver as the PSP. Really there is not much point considering it is a philips-head that is #00 screw driver. As for taking apart the PS3 remember it will void your waranty taking off any stickers. Anyway, when you get your 360 and are going to make a gamertag be sure to put the clan tag on it. For example, Cw Joey, capital C and lowercase w and a space. If the gamertag is not made like that at first it costs 800 microsoft points to change, which is 10USD. Also be sure to refreash yourself on the clans 360 rules.

No warranty well that is no problem then, open that sucker up, but be careful of course. Also, remember where all the screws go or you will be in trouble for sure. As for the gamertag I did not say it had to be just Cw Joey, I only said that it was an example to show you how it should look.

I do not know what to really say on where to find the part. The last resort would be ebay if that is your only choice of course. Now about a signature please let me know what you want and maybe a few pictures, but please post that in my signature topic and not here.
